John Metz offers personalized piano instruction for students of all ages and experience levels from his home studio in Central San Rafael. With more than 16 years of teaching experience, John combines strong foundations in piano technique, music reading, and theory with an individualized approach centered on the music each student enjoys. From classical repertoire to pop, jazz, movie music, improvisation and composition, his goal is to help students become confident, well-rounded musicians while developing a lasting enjoyment of playing.
